It was a joy for us to be able to share some of the knowledge about the history, culture and customs of Saxons acquired within the Erasmus+ program conducted in partnership with the ASTRA Museum in Sibiu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We talked about the Saxons and about the connections between Luxembourg and Transylvania during the 3 guided tours on March 2, 9 and 16 organized by RoKultur asbl<\/a> at the exhibition \u2018Following common traditions\u2019 at Vianden Castle. The exhibition includes embroidery and lace, interior textiles and costume pieces, spectacular jewelry, ceramics, tiles, painted furniture and a series of old photographs from the ASTRA Museum heritage in Sibiu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the 3 visits we were accompanied by 50 people who wanted to learn more about the culture and heritage of the Saxons. Thank you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
