RoKultur asbl proposes a new event with the ethnologist and museographer Sebastian Paic-Apan, a Easter egg painting workshop.
During the workshops, the focus will be on respecting authentic and traditional sources, considering necessary the thorough knowledge and popularization of archaic sources.
So you will have the opportunity to learn signs and meanings, as well as techniques of working with wax, and you will be able to decorate some eggs that you can take home.
You will be provided with: Eggs already emptied, quills of different thicknesses, waxes and wax melters.
Workshops take place on Saturday 14 March and Sunday 15 March 2026 from 10.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. the Neudorf Cultural Centre, 254 rue de Neudorf, Luxembourg
Tickets can be found on weezevent.
There is no need to buy a painting kit if you come to the workshop.

Sebastian Paic – Apan founded in 2011 ‘Zestrea’ Association, where he trains disciples in crafts such as: the painting of Easter eggs, the painting of icons on glass, the encrusting of wood, the making of traditional masks, opinci, cysts. In order to complete his egg painting technique Sebastian Paic conducted field researches in Țara Lăpuşului, Bucovina, Vrancea and Țara Bârsei. The painting craft was learned from Professor Ioan Sorin Apan from Brasov. One of the approaches he currently emphasizes is the promotion of the variety of egg models scattered from different regions (Ţara Bârsei, Țara Lăpuşului, Oltenia, Bucovina and Bihor).
